Regavim’s work bears fruit with passing of Knesset Regulation Bill

Regavim’s Josh Hasten penned an op-ed in the February 14 Jerusalem Post explaining how Israel’s Regulation Bill came about, which passed into law last week with 60 votes in the Knesset.

The bill became necessary as a result of the redrawing of the “Blue Lines” around communities in Judea and Samaria, where residents woke up one day only to find that their homes, in which they lived in for years, were no longer considered to have been built on State Lands.

Regavim had a major role in researching this issue and raising awareness amongst members of Knesset as to the threats the new “blue lines” posed.
